University of California Berkeley Library Digital Collections

University of California Berkeley Library Digital Collections (Kransky collection of Mitchell postcards) with 300 records in the collection searching on Spokane. There are postcards for some other locations in Washington; search by the specific location name (i.e. Wenatchee, Yakima, Walla Walla).

Identification of the item

Example: Apple Picking, Walla Walla, Washington

Name of the Collection

Example: Walter Robert and Gail Lynn Kransky collection of Edward H. Mitchell postcards

Call Number of Collection

Example: Card Number: 1486

Name of the UC Berkeley Library

Example: The Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley.

Spokane Public Library Digital Image and Postcard Collection

Spokane Public Library (https://lange.spokanelibrary.org/collections/browse) which includes both pictures and postcards. Search on Spokane and areas in Eastern Washington. There are 1,452 items in the collection.

For the Spokane Public Library, there is information on each picture and postcard to use when providing the sources. Use a format that includes the title/subject, date of item if available, name of the collection, name of the organization where you obtained the image in italics, and the link and item number and access date if available.
